CC: Zheng Jinjian, China Students for Birdlife; Wen Bo
Dear Fang Minghe,
Grant Number:53-408
I am happy to inform you that the Global Greengrants Fund, on the recommendation of the China Advisory Board, has decided to give your organization a $5,000.00 grant. This grant is for the charitable activities of China Students for Birdlife, as described in the Organization Information Form submitted to the China Advisory Board. This grant must be used exclusively for non-profit and non-violent activities conducted outside of the United States.
We are sending a wire to your account as complete payment of this grant. NOTE: acceptance of these funds constitutes your agreement with the terms and conditions of this letter. Please contact our Grants Management Team, via email at grants@greengrants.org or fax us at +1-(303)-939-9867, to confirm receipt of the wire or with any question you have regarding this grant.
Please provide the Global Greengrants Fund with a final narrative report that describes how these funds were used, and the progress or outcome of the projects. The report can be submitted any time after your project is complete, but we must have your report no later than one year after the date of this letter. To make this easier for you, we have created a list of questions that your report should address. If there are other important issues that are not covered by these questions, please describe those also. Your report should include the following:
1. Describe what you achieved with this grant.
2. What happened that you did not expect, and what did you do about it?
3. How has the problem you were working on changed?
4. Whom are you trying to influence, and how are they responding to your efforts?
5. Please include your grant number, organization name, advisor name and grant amount with your report.
In addition to this, your report also needs to include a brief financial summary of how the funds were spent. A statement by budget line item is all we need - actual copies of receipts are not required.
We also appreciate receiving other forms of information, such as videos, press articles, publications, and especially photographs.
Sincerely,
Chet Tchozewski
