荒漠化不是一个遥远的概念。

首都每年都有那么灰蒙蒙的几天——不光首都，整个华北地区，每年都会迎来灰蒙蒙的几天。
作为背包客踏上内蒙的土地，原本期待的“风吹草地见牛羊”，早已变成“大漠孤烟直，长河落日圆”。感叹这样的美景之余，心有岌岌。

阿拉善的荒漠化不仅仅是一个自然问题，更是一个复杂的社会和历史问题，涉及到社会生活中的方方面面，这样的问题充满了复杂性和不确定性。这就意味着许多的利益相关方和观点参与其中，这些人和观点根植于不同的社会领域和社会阶层，在问题的定义、解决方案、以及未来的发展目标方面充满了争议。

所幸的是，仍然有那么多人坚持守护着这片土地：各大学府的教授，热心环保的各行各业人士，专心治沙的NGO...所以作为仍然心怀梦想的青年，我们希望召集在不同领域，与我们同样有心于呼吁大众重视荒漠化的青年们，通过为期十天的高强度的学习和实地考察，为这个复杂问题的解决提供不同的视角和充满创造力的解决方案。

Desertification, it's not just a concept far from our life.

      In our capital Beijing, there are always a few days in a year such that the sky is dimmed by sand storm, furthermore, not only our capital, the whole Central North area of China is facing the same environmental condition.

      As a traveler, we stepped on the land of Inner Mongolia with the expectation of seeing boundless grassland and herds of cows and sheep. However, what we saw are boundless desert and lifeless fields.

      The desertification of Alxa is not just a natural problem, it is also a complicated social and historical problem. It is closely related to many aspects of our society, and full of complexity and uncertainty. People have their own perspective on the problem based on their own value system. As a result, the definition of the problem, how we should solve it, and what we should do in the future are all highly debatable.

      Fortunately, there are still a lot of people stay in Alxa, ranging from university professors, environmentalists from all fields, and NGOs that have devoted themselves on solving desertification problem. As a group of young and enthusiastic students, we want to recruit a team with talented young people from different background, but with the same passion for solving desertification problem, to join us on this 10 days trip of intense study and research, and in the end provide your own point of view on how to make Alxa a better place.
