关于正在召开东亚青年环境论坛的介绍

不好意思，以至没有把相关内容放上了来，失误失误。
由于这次东亚青年环境论坛的召开时间和NEAYEN东京会议的时间正好接近，我们就为参加NEAYEN会议的代表们申请了几个名额，在日本继续参加这个论坛。现在我们有4名NEAYEN-China的青年成员以及作为观察员的温波在东京参加这个论坛，他们在今天做了关于中国青年环境活动的一个演讲。

East Asian Youth Environment Forum





1．General picture of the East Asian Youth Environmental Conference




Theme ： “Environment and Development”

Date: September 21[sup]st[/sup] – 23[sup]rd[/sup], 2007

Venue: BumB Tokyo Sports Bunkakan http://www.ys-tokyobay.co.jp/

Accommodation: BumB

Organizer: Japan Youth Ecology League               

Supporter: Environmental Restoration and Conservation Agency http://www.erca.go.jp/english/index.html

Participants ：                                             

60 youth （40 from Japan, 20 from other east Asian countries, such as Indonesia, Philippine, Vietnam,　Malaysia, Nepal, Korea, China, Mongolia）

・ some guests

Language: English (Japanese will be used supplementary)



Admission Fee: $50 (USD)





2. Purpose of the conference                                 

1) Sharing ides and experiences on environmental activities among Japanese youth and youth from Eastasian countries during conference.

2) Making networking and hopefully collaborate together for sustainablesociety after the conference.

3) For Japanese youth, having more interest on not only Japanese

environmental problem but also Asian environmental problem and try tosolve it. Through this conference, they can enlarge their capacity.

4. Host Organization

Japan Youth Ecology League (Eco-League)



Japan Youth Ecology League, which is often referred to as “Eco-league”, is a group of Japanese youth who are eager to make better changes to the global environment. It was founded in 1994, after a year of preparation from the Rio Summit. Now, Eco-League is one of the largest youth networking organizations in Japan, having more than 70 energetic groups entry, a nation-wide network of environmental activities. All the managements of Eco-league are carried on by members, whose ages are 16-29. It has one board and two branches, one in Tokyo and the other in Osaka.
