爱加倍在中国

　中国爱加倍基金会（Chinese Agape Foundation）是创立于美国田纳西州的一家民间慈善机构，基金会自二零零一年伊始，在中国云南、湖北、湖南、河南、广西、陕西、吉林等省与地方政府合作，实施人道主义援助项目。援助项目主要包括医疗救助、资助孤儿上学及修建孤儿院三方面。

　　一、医疗救助

　　成立以来，本基金会积极联系美国的医生及志愿者来到中国为收入低下水平的病患者进行义诊，先后累计诊治病患达到10000人次。二零零二年与武汉亚洲心脏病医院、吉林长春心脏病医院、西安西京医院合作，自今成功救治了超过一百多人次的先天性心脏病患儿（平均费用每人超过六万人民币），其中一些因病情复杂而在国内难以治疗的病患(主要是先天性心脏病及烧伤)由本基金会负责送到美国进行治疗。截至目前，送往美国治疗的病患累计已达十人次， 其中，湖北黄岗市红安县远河镇余家畈村一组门前湾村的涂婷婷（16岁，女，电话：0713-5162010）于零五年十月份在美国成功进行了心脏开刀手术，已康复回国，现就读于宜昌市水电学校；目前，尚有三位中国小患者在美国接受有关治疗。

　　二、孤儿助学

　　本基金会在云南永善县、广西桂林市、柳州融水县、湖南隆回县、城步县、河南省泌阳县、陕西省蓝田县开展 孤儿助学助养项目，资助 孤儿在校学习人次累计达到六百四十八名（部分为单亲或残疾的贫困家庭儿童）。本基金会采取“一对一”的资助模式，使美国资助人与 孤儿间有了更亲密的联系，让他们保持相互间的书信来往，建立了浓厚的至善至真的天父之爱。在信中，美国资助人常常用“我的中国孙子”而 孤儿们用“ 我的美国奶奶爷爷”“我的美国叔叔阿姨、哥哥姐姐”来相互称呼， 受助 孤儿们为自己有这些不是亲人而胜似亲人的好人感到自豪和骄傲。灵川九屋苏孛村的孤儿苏翔自初中起得到美国资助人格林·帕特 （Pat Green ，七十岁）的援助，今年七月苏翔高中毕业，并以优异的成绩考取了广西大学农林机械系。

　　三、修建孤儿院

　　目前，本基金会在湖南隆回县及河南泌阳县已建成并运作了两个关爱中心（孤儿院），第三个关爱中心：融水奈尔·泰勒关爱中心正在建设中，三层共计九百平方米的生活楼目前已经封顶。至此，目前三个孤儿院已收养的孤儿有两百一十一名（至二00七年七月二十日统计）。

　　中国爱加倍基金会的善举得到了包括美国联邦快递、CDH（印刷与办公产品）,Delta、Johnson & Johnson等多家实力雄厚的公司的强力支持，基金会亦希望有更多的人参与。

　　爱加倍基金会计划将在百色革命老区及西北一些省份建立更多的孤儿院，援助需要帮助的孤儿，让他们感受到上苍的恩慈及大爱。为和谐社会多添几缕温暖的阳光。

　　Agape Foundation in China

　　The Chinese Agape Foundation is a non-governmental charity founded in Tennessee, US .Since the year of 2000. Aided by the relevant local governments, humanitarian mission has been carried out in the provinces such as Yunnan, Hubei, Henan, Shaanxi, Guangxi. The mission includes Medical Care, Funding the Kids to School and Setting up Orphanages.

　　.A. Medical Care

　　Since 2001, with the help of the Foundation, many US doctors and volunteers have come to China to aid the needy, including 10000 patients. Funded by the Foundation, over one hundred CHD patients had been treated in Wuhan Heart Disease Hospital in Hubei province, Changchun Heart Disease Hospital in Jilin province, Xi Jing Heart Disease Hospital in Xi’an ( about 60000 yuan for each patient). For those who can not be treated because of the lack of the necessary medical technology in China, they are sent to the USA for the treatment. Up to now, ten patients have been sent to the USA. Successfully treated there, they have recovered. Now they live a normal life as other kids. Tu Tingting, a sixteen-year-old girl, (contact phone: 086-0713—5162010) had a successful surgery in USA. Now she is a student in a secondary school in Yuchang City, Hubei province. There are now three burnt patients in the States where they are to receive surgery.

　　B. Foster care Program

　　The Program has funded 648 orphans from the poor families in Yongshan county, Yunnan province, Guilin city and Rongshui conuty, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Biyang county, Henan province, Longhui county and Chengbu county, Hunan province, Lantian county, Shanxi province (Some of them are fatherless or motherless kids, or kids whose parents are disabled). The “one to one” funding model enables the benefactors and the beneficiaries to establish the relationship of affinity through correspondence. In the letters, the Chinese beneficiaries often address in such intimate terms as “my American granny or my American granddad, or my American uncle or my American aunties, or my American elder brothers and my American sisters”. In their replies, the American benefactors would address “my Chinese child”. The funded kids are proud of having such relatives. Su Xiang, an orphan, who has been helped by a seventy-year-old American lady Pat Green, has been admitted to the Guangxi University this year with an excellent grade in the National College Entrance Exam.

　　C. Setting up Orphanages

　　Now the two orphanages the North Carton Christian Care Center ( NCCC) in Longhui county, Hunan province and The Momma Jo’s Christian Care Center ( MJH) in Biyang county, Henan province are in operation. The third one, The Neil Tailor Christian Care Center( NTCC), a three-story dormitory building in Rongshui county, Guangxi is under construction. Up to July, 20th, 2007, two hundreds and eleven orphans have been adopted to the above-mentioned orphanages.

　　What The Chinese Agape Foundation has done has been much appreciated and supported by such companies like FedEx, Johnson & Johnson: CDH( Printing and Office Products), Delta etc.. Agape is booming up with these inspiring actions from the worldwide areas. It is our sincere hope that more and more people can join us.

　　Agape plans to enlarge the mission in the less developed areas like Baise, Guangxi, and Datong, Shanxi. We would like to help as many needy people as we can, so that they can share kindness from HIS grace and love and help to build up a harmonious society in China.
