中国加入WTO，相应而来的商业机遇和发展冲击，很多的议题和条约会对大众及我们的生活产生潜在的影响，特别是弱势群体。

只有对WTO的基本内容有所了解，才能够在工作中采取相应对策。关于WTO，我们知道的还太少。

于是有这样一个项目，很有趣，这是武汉大学WTO学院，日内瓦的地球议会，美国的农业和贸易政策研究会共同支持的一个WTO基础知识培训项目。主要面对官员，NGO。

虽然这里的多是学生，但是不妨也多了解一点，特别是学习贸易和国际法的同学。

Dear Friends,

I am writing to invite you and your staff to
participate in an exciting initiative being launched
by the Wuhan University WTO Studies School, the Earth
Council (Geneva), and the Institute for Agriculture
and Trade Policy (USA).

On October 1, 2005 we will launch the China WTO
Literacy Program, an internet based, e-education
program designed to prepare non-governmental
organizations and government officials in China for
the upcoming Hong Kong Ministerial. This program
provides three e-education courses designed by world
class faculty on: WTO Basics, the WTO Agreement on
Agriculture, and the WTO Services Agreement. All
course content and instruction will be in Chinese.

Each course will take about 6 hours for a learner to
complete and is FREE of charge. All you need to
participate in each course is access to the internet.

These courses will provide you with the tools you and
your staff need to better understand the WTO, its
agriculture and services agreements, and the
state-of-play of negotiations leading up to the Hong
Kong Ministerial.

I am attaching a formal letter of invitiation from
Professor Yu Minyou, Dean of the Wuhan University WTO
Studies School.

Please let me know as soon as possible if you and/or
staff would like to enroll in these courses.
