PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To file and manage news clippings of Greenpeace by media, in order to keep track of Greenpeace’s media performance
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Systematically file all news clippings of Greenpeace by media in mainland, Hong Kong and other countries
2.Manage the media clippings library
3.Help to run regular media analysis
REQUIREMENTS:
1.Good Chinese and English proficiency;
2.Strong analyzing and filing ability;
3.Good interpersonal communications;
4.Passion for environmental protection;
5.Knowledge of Greenpeace campaigns.

POSITION TITLE (CHINESE): 图像编辑助理(兼职)
DEPARTMENT: Communications
LOCATION: Beijing
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To organize, process and file all images (pictures and videos) in the database of Greenpeace China.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Organize the image database of Greenpeace China in accordance with Greenpeace China’s and Greenpeace International’s campaigns.
2.Edit images and ensure that all images in the database are given proper caption and details.
3.To assist the Image Officer to catalogue, enter and retrieve images from the global image library.
4.Help select relevant Greenpeace images for use in Greenpeace communications materials and media;
5.Assist the Image Officer to produce and deliver images required;
6.Assist the Image Officer to commission photographers and videographers to shoot images for required purposes;
7.Liaise with image distribution networks to push the campaign stories through images.
REQUIREMENTS:
1.Three years experience within the photo/ video professions;
2.Experience of photo/video technology both conventional and digital;
3.Good Chinese and English proficiency;
4.Strong analyzing and filing ability;
5.Creativity;
6.Knowledge of Chinese photo agencies, TV stations and internet video portals;
7.Good interpersonal communications;
8.Passion for environmental protection.
