The IUCN World Conservation Congress - See you there!

Barcelona, Spain, 5-14 October 2008 is the IUCN World Conservation Congress. More than 8,000 of the world's leading decision-makers in sustainable development, from governments, NGOs, business, the UN and academia will be gathering together in one place for 10 days to debate, share, network, learn, commit, vote and decide.

Earth Day Network would like to take this opportunity to host a gathering for all of our network members who will also be in Barcelona for the Congress. We want to meet you, learn about the amazing work you are doing and talk to you about your ideas for Earth Day 2009 and our 40th Anniversary Earth Day in 2010.

This is a great time to meet other members of Earth Day Network from around the world. If you or someone from your organization will be attending the Congress please send an email to Caitlin Werrell, werrell (at) earthday.net to reserve your spot at the Earth Day Network gathering! If there is enough interest, we will follow up with an email to confirm a date, time and location.
