Forest team is looking for one volunteer from Beijing to go and serve in the Global Rescue Station (GRS) in Paradise forest, which is located in Papua New Guinea (east to Indonesia). He/She will leave Beijing at the end of Feb., will spend 10 days in the capital city Port Moresby and 20 days in GRS. The person will help with Greenpeace solution work and boundary marking of tribal and forest borderline, and will partake in community activities, getting to understand the way of life in forest tribes. He/She needs to communicate with Beijing team and audience constantly, through weblog, online chatting and phone when in PNG, will take a road show when return (very likely during April), and very possible will become a media star after that. So if you know any person fit in the description and very likely can spend time on it, please refer him or her to me. Young, brave and tough lady is preferred. Bellows are some basics:



Essential

? Very good communication skills, people skills and very good Chinese writing

? Fluent English

? Can manage to live and work in tropical forest, where mosquito, spiders and snakes are commonly seen

? suitable medical, no serious medical condition, medically fit. They must have a medical from a doctor. Fit for strenuous hiking in hot conditions.

? completed personal information form

? declaration acknowledging security & health issues.

? not vegan. Able to eat fish at minimum. (could be exceptions..)

? Need to have a reliable operator to vouch for them

? Sociable, adaptable, easygoing

? Prepared to live in a Patriarchal society, and abide by local customs
