国际碳减排青年环保创意大赛

“GREENeration Y全球青年峰会”是国际经济学商学学生联合会（AIESEC）即将在香港举办的一个国际会议，意在激励和帮助青年人为应对气候变化，采取绿色行动和创建社会环保项目。峰会将于2010年6月在香港理工大学（the Hong Kong Polytechnic University）以及香港著名的麦理浩夫人度假村（ Lady MacLehose Holiday Village）举行。你将有机会获得专业的NGO运营培训；参观香港的绿色产业；与环保嘉宾对话，详细了解如何实现自己的绿色梦想。

这次峰会的一项重要环节是“国际碳减排青年环保创意大赛”。大赛面向世界各国的青年人征集低碳生产和生活的方案，并为获胜团队提供18，000港币的资助，以帮助获胜队实现其绿色构想。

大赛分为两个环节：

Round 1:

2-3人组成一个小组，以“青年人环保”为主题，拍摄一个2-3分钟的英文短片，来介绍自己及身边的人应对气候变化和环保的任何行动或是发起的环保项目。题材、内容不限。 短片将会上传至“GREENeration Y”在youku和youtube的页面进行统一评比。六个以上的团队将在5月1日之前晋级。

Round 2:

晋级团队将针对碳减排问题写出策划，并参加六月份在香港举行的“GREENeration Y”青年峰会。参赛选手需在最后一天，向与会代表介绍自己的策划构想，大会在当天评出前两名。参赛队的交通费和会费将由会议方支付。

Who is GREENeration Y?

GREENeration Y refers to a group of Generation Y who has passion and ability to act green so as to combat climate change.

Inspire & Empower

GREENeration Y is the new sustainability initiative brought by AIESEC to inspire and empower youth on green entrepreneurship and social project through carbon reduction competition and global youth summit, in order to combat climate change.

Key Initiatives

International Carbon Reduction Competition provides youth a chance to exert direct contribution to and drive carbon reduction initiative for small and medium enterprise.

Global Youth Summit is a 4-day conference which provides practical skill training, diverse stakeholder perspective and international learning environment to inspire and empower youth on green entrepreneurship and social project.
Carbon-reduction Competition

Round 1: Video making

Participants in team of 2-3 are required to submit a video about “How young people can act green personally?” The content can be any youth action that contributes to combating climate change directly or indirectly, ranging from green lifestyle to social project. They are also required to upload their video to youku or youtube channel of “GREENeration Y” andregister on official website (You can attach the link of your video to the registration form).

The deadline for submission is 1st May, 2010. Video should be limited to 2-3 minutes in English. Submissions will be marked by judge panel. Up to 6 teams will be selected for round 2.

Round 2: Proposal writing & Presentation

Qualified teams will write a proposal on carbon reduction strategy for assigned SME (Small and Medium Enterprise). Proposals are limited to 10 A4 pages and must be submitted togreen-y@aiesec.hk before 25th May, 2010. Then, they are required to attend “GREENeration Y” Global Youth Summit in Hong Kong and present on the last day of the summit in early June. All travel and living expense for the summit will be fully subsidized. Proposals are marked by judge panel solely while the presentation is judged by the summit delegates and the panel. Champion, 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up are selected and formally announced in the award ceremony on the same day.
