Major Duties and Accountabilities:
Work with WWF Qinling team to develop and implement the strategy plan for ecotourism development in Qinling Mountains, including proposals for extension of the project, or replication of the project elsewhere. Develop project annual work plans and budgets.Manage contracted projects and implement consistently monitoring and evaluation. Technical assistance to partners.Assist to establish necessary project documentation and database, serving as an information source for WWF family. Provide timely financial and technical reports as required. Qinling communication manager to ensure that a sound communications strategy is in place and participate in communications activities as needed.Fulfil other project related works required by supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
At least university degreeAt least 5-year work experience in biodiversity conservation or related work in China Understanding conservation and economic development issues in QinlingFamiliar with adaptive management approachBackground on conservation and rural developmentGood English writing and speakingExcellent Chinese writing skillsFamiliar with participatory facilitation skillsAdaptive to frequent field travelDynamic, creative and outgoing personality and commitment to nature conservationCandidates should send a cover letter, CV in English and Chinese to hr@wwfchina.org
