我们的组织团队全部由校园可持续发展团队的领导者组成（约30人）。有8个联络组负责联络与我们工作的校园组织。在这些组织中，有54人直接参与了GPR项目，其中效果最好的如下：

Report: Our GPR Organizing team consisted of all of the leaders of campus sustainability groups (about 30 people). There were 8 liaisons that contacted the campus groups that we worked with. Within those groups there were 54 people that were directly involved in planning the GPR projects, the most effective ones are listed below.

Two of our most far-reaching efforts affected a total of 19,500 people. Blackout Battles, a competition in the residence halls reached over 6,500 students. The “No on Prop 23” campaign at UC Berkeley contributed to the proposition’s rejection in the November Elections, educating over 13,000 students across campus about it. In addition, the Energy DeCal, which was facilitated by GPR members, engaged students in energy related projects such as: researching green businesses and interviewing green job professionals. The class was a creative way to get a large group of students, not involved with sustainability on campus, to join the race.

The Strawberry Creek Restoration Project worked with the UC Berkeley community to restore natural habitats on campus. The Greeks Go Green event included highlights such as a press conference, interviews by a local news station, energy audits and education on sustainable laundry habits in 18 Greek Houses. In three campus residence halls we implemented a paper towel composting program. A video was made to educate the residents. The Local provided organic produce on campus, making smarter food choices accessible for students. UC Berkeley’s Solar Vehicle Team aimed to raise campus awareness of renewable energy while focusing on the engineering challenges present in solar powered electric car technology.

We have forged new relationships both in and out of the Cal sustainability community. In an effort to increase awareness we created a video highlighting the student body president’s support of GPR. Due to a large scale effort by the sustainability community at Cal, and with the help of other GPR teams we were able to break the 1,000 follower mark on Facebook, raising our follower count by 300 the last day.

Throughout this competition we have increased awareness and implemented projects across the Berkeley campus, many of which will continue and grow. As a result, we have helped the University along the journey of achieving ambitious goals stated in the Cal Climate Action Plan.
