WWF世界自然基金会正在招募成都西宁职位

WWF, the global conservation organization that has been working in China for 31 years, is looking for a highly skilled professional to be a Head of Chengdu Programme Office for the Conservation Biodiversity and Operations in WWF China Programme Office to be based in Chengdu. This position will report to Deputy Director of Conservation and Operations.
     
Head of Chengdu Programme Office (Chengdu)

Function:
    1. Developing conservation strategy, esp. update log frame, M&E and Work Plan for related projects in the Upper Yangtze and Chengdu, under the overall framework of the overall Yangtze Strategy and Action plan. (Planning and Design)
    2. Exploring potential donors and fundraising opportunities to sustain and diverse the development of Chengdu Programme office (Fundraising)
    3. Implementing components of “all projects/programmes, e.g. Green Heart of China Programme (hereafter referred as GhoC”), WWF-TCCC Partnership Yangtze Programme, and ECBP TCM Programme etc. in the Upper Yangtze, typically in Sichuan and Gansu, and Chongqing, to make sure deliveries as planned and meet the objectives of the programme – panda habitat conservation and other key ecosystem conservation such as forest and freshwater with the consideration of climate change impacts. (Implementation)
    4. Manage and supervise the Chengdu Programme Office to deliver the conservation results and keep the office running well in terms of finance, administration and team capacity building for the delivery of related project in the Upper Yangtze and Chengdu, (Office running)
    5. Ensuring effectively communication and collaboration among teams of “Green Heart Programme” in Chengdu, Xi’an, and the rest of those who are in relation to the programmes /departments in Wuhan, Changsha, Shanghai, Lhasa, Xining, Kunming and Beijing office.

    6. Maintaining and developing conservation partnership and network for GhoC and other projects and programmes of Chengdu Programme Office. (Partnership)
    7. Maintaining good relationship with donors of GhoC and other projects and programme of Chengdu Programme Office”. (Network donor communication)
    8. Engage business/private sectors actively through establishing communication flows and joint program development for building of transformational partnership (Business & private sector partnership)
     
Roles and Responsibilities:
    1. Lead to update log frame, M&E for the projects implemented in the upper Yangtze under the overall framework of “Green Heart Programme” and consistent with the overall Yangtze Strategy and Action plan.
    2. Develop and promotes strategies and partnerships locally and nationally for raising WWF’s profile and influence in related biodiversity conservation policy making process.
    3. Leads and implement the fundraising strategy for Chengdu Programme Office to secure funding for implementation the Yangtze EAP in Chengdu Programme Office.
    4. Lead to develop annual work plan and budget for the projects implemented by Chengdu Programme office with full consideration of the delivery of project achievements and team work coordination.
    5. Lead the effective and efficient implementation of the related projects in Chengdu Programme office to make sure to realize project achievements and meet project objectives.
    6. Lead to manage third party contracts in relation to the projects in Chengdu office according to the donor requirements.
    7. Lead to develop communication strategies for related projects of Chengdu Programme Office and support to implement communication activities as designed.
    8. Lead various reporting timely in appropriate format, quality, and content, and within the specified time frame, to meet donor requirements.
    9. Maintain effective linkage among different project components to contribute overall objectives of the Yangtze EAP Programme.
    10. Lead to share information of projects progress, achievements, big events etc. timely within team and colleagues in other field office and Beijing office.
    11. Maintaining existing conservation partnership and developing new partnership for Chengdu Programme Office.
    12. Lead Chengdu team to work closely with partners to facilitate the project implementation effectively and efficiently.
    13. Lead Chengdu team to provide effective technical supports when the donor requires.
    14. Lead Chengdu team to have effective communication mechanism with “Green Heart Programme” donors.
    15. Make sure TCCC partnership program operation running smoothly with support from related offices, programs and CPO departments.
    16. Make sure the effective Chengdu Programme Office finance management in good condition with compliance with CPO policy and regulations.
    17. Make sure Chengdu office in good working order and well operated to support programme implementation and Chengdu office running.
    18. Work with Chengdu office staff to develop the feasible capacity building plan for stable human resource and the encouragement of career development.
    19. Conduct annual performance appraisal and training needs assessment of Chengdu Programme Office.
    20. Perform other tasks allocated by the supervisor.
     
Qualification:
•   5 years working experiences on managing large scale conservation programs in China, grass land management and conservation related education and working background are preferable
•   Familiar with program cycle management with its tools and standards
•   Excellent in both Chinese and English speaking and writing.
•   Familiar with Chinese government working streams and high sensitivity in working with multi-culture situations.
•   Strong management skills including leading teams and managing project finances.
•   Strong Team work spirit with good communication and facilitating skills
•   Willingness to travel in the region both in and outside China extensively

WWF, the global conservation organization that has been working in China for 32 years, is looking for a highly skilled professional to be a Head of Tibetan Plateau Program (Xining) for the Conservation Biodiversity and Operations in WWF China Programme Office to be based in Xining.
    This position will report to Deputy Director of Conservation and Operations.
     
Head of Tibetan Plateau Program (Xining)

Key Function
•   Overall management responsibility for all activities within the Tibetan Plateau Program (TPP)
•   Own the development and implementation of conservation strategies and action plans for the source area of Yangtze or Qinghai-Tibet Plateau under CPO Business plan and Yangtze EAP framework.
•   Overall responsibility to manage the TPP’s finances and helps ensure sufficient funding in place to manage ongoing activities (people and projects)
•   Work with CPO relevant department/progams to build adequate capacity in Lhasa and Xining offices to deliver conservation outcomes according to TPP 5-year strategy and CPO five year conservation and business plan and signed donor contracts.
•   Build and maintain good partnerships in TAR and Qinghai, e.g. Forestry departments, other agencies and other NGOs.
•   Coordinate and communicate with existing donors to help they all be involved or informed when important steps coming and milestones appeared during program/project implementation according to agreed action plans and contracts in the field
     
Responsibilities
    1. Takes the lead to develop and implement the TPP conservation strategy in line with the Yangtze EAP Strategy/Framework.
    2. Lead the team to develop and agree on annual work plan and budget according to existing donor contracts.
    3. Work with HR department to hire necessary staff to build capacity for Lhasa office and Xining offices and help the team functioning for effective operation to deliver conservation outcomes through coaching and exchanging with nearby field offices and make sure that there is good communication with Beijing office in terms of finance management and implementation capacity needs.
    4. Develop strategies on how to synergize and share resources among Lhasa, Xining, Chengdu, Xian and Beijing offices to make sure they can support each other to make big conservation impacts at different levels in a cost-effective way.
    5. Approach MOU review/discussions with TAR and Qinghai provinces towards signing of MOU between CPO and two forestry departments in each province respectively
    6. Build contact with existing donors for updating progress being made for agreed contracts with support from the team. This includes management of financial and technical progress reports. Attend related workshops meetings as needed regard to fundraising, exchanging, typical issue discussion and other issues if necessary.
    7. Seeking technical support both in and outside two provinces for carry out project activities to fulfill capacity gaps of the team if any
    8. Build and maintain partnership with other NGOs and institutes to looking for cooperation efforts and leverage impacts
    9. Responsible to manage all financials within the TPP
    10. And other related duties as directed by your line manager
     
Qualification:
