Participants: Student and young professional leaders from the U.S.A. and abroad who have passion to make positive impact globally.



Program:   

November 29: Global Service Leadership Training "Strategies for Transforming Volunteerism: International, National and Local Perspectives" at  the Points of Light  Headquarters (one of the largest mobilizers of volunteers in the world)
Presenters:

o   Delores Morton, President, Points of Light
o   Gared Jones, Vice President of Global Service, Points of Light


November 30 & December 1: Global Peace Convention and International Youth Celebration at the Marriott Marquis Hotel. Great opportunity to personally engage with global leaders including (not limited to):
o   12 Former Heads of State from Latin America
o   President Massoud Barzani, Kurdistan Regional Government
o   Parliamentarians
o   Business Leaders
o   NGO Leaders
o   Religious Leaders from Different Faiths


December 2: International Young Leaders Forum at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change. Leadership training and Town Hall meeting with civil rights icons. Program graduates will be appointed as Global Ambassadors and receive certificates.
