WWF, the global conservation organization has a new position for a
Programme coordinator, China Programme Office to be based in Xi ‘ An China
The main duties of the Programme Coordinator will work with WWF Qinling team to develop and implement the strategy plan for biodiversity conservation and sustainable economy development in Qinling mountains, including proposals for extension of the project, or replication of the project elsewhere Key
Main Responsibilities:
Assist to develop project annual work plans and budgets according to TDP's strategic plans
Assist to manage contracted projects and implement consistently monitoring and evaluation
Provide technical assistance to partners
Assist to establish necessary project documentation and database, serving as an information source for WWF family.
Assist to provide timely financial and technical reports as required.
Assist Qinling communication manager to ensure that a sound communications strategy is in place and participate in communications activities as needed
Fulfill other project related works required by the Yangtze Team and TDPs
Requirements:
At least 5-year work experience in biodiversity conservation or related working area in China
Understanding conservation and economic development issues in Qinling
A university degree in a relevant field;
Excellent administration and organization skills;
A team player with strong interpersonal skills;
An ability to priorities and complete work to meet deadlines;
Strong written and oral communication skills in English;
Interest in conservation and the mission of WWF.
