CSR是什么?

CSR对不同的人,有不同的含义,例如:
    [li]对雇员来说,它象征着合理的薪酬,消除歧视,可以接受的工作环境等等。 [/li][li]对股东来说,它意味着在考虑资本如何运用的基础上负起责任,并提升决策的透明度。 [/li][li]对供应商来说,它等如增加了时间成本。 [/li][li]对顾客来说,它等如增加了运输时间等等。 [/li][li]对地方公众和官员来说,它意味着采取措施以保护环境免受污染。对非官方组织和强制团体来说,它表示限制商业上的行为,以迫使其履行社会责任,涉及到以下方面:能源保护、减少温室效应、人权、动物权利,热带雨林与珍稀物种的保护,童工和强制劳动的限制等等。 [/li]

对一家公司来说,它可以简单理解成在公司运营方面作出改变,以满足那些能影响公司发展或对其商业行为、产品等构成冲击的人们、团体的需要。有些人可以直接理解把CSR理解为公司责任。

CSR 商业实践
由于行业、文化、政治、经济体制、公司规模和地域等差异,CSR方法的应用相差较大。一家覆盖亚洲、欧洲、美洲的跨国石油公司会在CSR的实施方针方法上与广东议价中型电子生产行业出现巨大的差异。因此不能墨守成规地运用同一个CSR方案。
在不同的CSR项目中,有一些原则是共有的:
