Earth Day Network invites your organization to be apart of the largest global celebration of Earth Day yet: the 40thanniversary.
More than ever we arecounting on experienced organizations like yours to mobilize your community andspread the need for global action. Earth Day Network is working with nearly18,000 global partners in 180 countries, which are poised to make Earth Day 40a truly unifying event.
Earth Day40 is the accumulation of a two year campaign that is targeting ‘The GreenGeneration™”.

By coordinating the effortsof individuals, corporations, governments worldwide, the Earth Day Networkseeks to make Earth Day, 2010 a turning point in the environmental movement – andwe seek your continued partnership.
Earth Day Network would like to again thank yourorganization for your previous efforts and encourage you to share anyinitiatives that have since been created.
The key components of this effort are:
Advocacy, Service and Celebration.
At the core is the Billion Acts ofGreenTM campaign.
Thiseffort, focused on the creating service on behalf of the planet will be globalin nature and involve millions of people and organizations worldwide.
The massive collection of impactfulservice acts will send a powerful message that will have a major effect onefforts to fight climate change.

Again,this year we will ensure that there is a strong advocacy ask as well asactivities, events and celebrations to highlight these efforts.

We, atEarth Day Network, are in the process of creating ‘country pages’ that willhighlight each organization’s effort within a country in combating climatechange. You will be able to post content, pictures, videos and other mediarelated to your actions and connect them to the global community via the EarthDay Network’s website
