目标
特别助理直接为亚洲地区总代表工作提供支持,接受亚洲地区总代表直接指派的工作,并参与亚洲项目的发展。 同亚洲地区总代表一起,特别助理将为IFAW亚洲项目的管理、实施和拓展提供高层次的策略性和运营性支持。 特别助理将负责亚洲地区总代表指派的特殊项目,在适当情况下代表亚洲地区总代表出席对内和对外场合。 该职位要求应聘者具有高保密性、人际敏感型和准确的判断力。

职责
A. 在亚洲地区总代表的指导下管理特殊项目的发展、实施和评估。
B. 负责一般行政工作,包括准备文件和演讲资料,处理往来信函,安排会面,安排会议,并管理电子和文本文档。 研究和分析IFAW亚洲项目活动的状态和进展。 并负责为亚洲地区总代表准备IFAW项目相关报告和摘要,用于对内和对外沟通。 如果需要,负责为总代表准备演说和演讲。

要求
1. 相关学位:传媒、商业管理、公共关系、环境政策和法律。 更高学历者优先。
2. 出色的沟通能力,流利的中英文说写能力,掌握其他语言或中国方言者优先。
3. 至少3-5年项目管理、筹款和业务发展相关经验。
4. 有据可查的管理、分析和组织能力。
5. 熟悉计算机使用,精通Microsoft Office。善于同各种人和项目工作,出色的沟通和合作能力。
6. 理解客户关系,具有筹款经验者优先。
7. 了解捐款人资助机构特别是保护机构,以及该类机构相关问题者优先。 对所负责地区充分了解者优先。
8. 如果工作需要,能够加班/弹性工作。
9. 能够经常甚至在临时通知情况下出差(国内、国际)。
10. 理解动物福利理念,并愿意推动IFAW宗旨。

Position Title: Special Assistant to Asia Regional Director
Reports To: Asia Regional Director
Location of Job: IFAW Asia Office in China

Purpose
The Special Assistant serves as direct support to the Asia Regional Director, accepting responsibility as directly assigned by the Asia Regional Director and attending to detail and development of projects in Asia. Working closely with the Asia Regional Director the Special Assistant will provide a high-level of strategic and operational support related to the management, implementation and expansion of IFAW programs in Asia. The Special Assistant will manage special projects as assigned by the Director, and will represent the Director in internal and external forums as appropriate. The position requires a high degree of confidentiality, interpersonal sensitivity and good judgment.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities
1. Manage the development, implementation and evaluation of special projects under the guidance of the Asia Regional Director.
2. Responsible for general administrative support activities including preparing documents and presentations, processing incoming and outgoing correspondence, scheduling appointments, sending meeting notices, and maintaining electronic and hard files.
3. Research and analyze status and progress of IFAW programs/projects/campaigns in Asia. Prepare reports and summaries on the status of and progress of relevant IFAW program activities for use by the Director for both internal and external audiences. Prepare speeches and presentations for the Director as necessary.
4. Accompany or where directed represent the Asia Regional Director or the China office in external meetings and forums, developing relationships and collaborating with external groups and individuals.
5. Handle inquiries and correspondence for the Director in his/her absence or as otherwise directed.
6. Manage administrative responsibilities of the Director when needed, such as maintaining calendars, filing systems and contact databases, booking hotels, arranging travel and providing support at external meetings in Asia.
7. Organize special events as needed in Asian countries for fund raising, public awareness in support of IFAW’s strategic and programmatic needs (including preparation of materials, invitations, catering, and audiovisual needs).
8. Collaborate with the Asia Regional Director to assume responsibility for fundraising, internal or external reporting and other expectations of the Director as necessary.
9. Oversee budget administration as required by the Director.
10. Undertake other duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Requirements
A. Relevant BA/BS degree required, preferably in communications, business administration, public relations, environmental policy and law. Advanced degree preferred.
B. Excellent communication skills, oral and written in both Chinese and English, with additional language or Chinese dialect a plus.
C. Minimum 3 - 5 years project management, fund raising and business development related experience.
D. Strong administrative, analytical and organizational skills with proven track record.
E. Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
F. Ability to work with a variety of people and projects, excellent interpersonal, teamwork abilities.
G. Understanding of customer relations with experience in fundraising a definite plus.
H. Knowledge and understanding of donor funded institutions and in particular conservation institutions and the issues that surround such institutions will be a definite advantage. Good working knowledge of the region of responsibility would be an asset.
I. Should be willing to work overtime/ flextime, subject to the requirements of the job.
J. Able to conduct local and international travel, sometimes at short notice.
K. Commitment to animal welfare issues and to promoting IFAW’s mission.
