Communication Coordinator (Changsha)
Major Function:
Coordinate communication and training activities to Field Project of WWF Partnership for a Living Yangtze Programme.Major Duties and Responsibilitiesevelop communication and training strategy and implement communication & magnification plan relating to Field Project of WWF Partnership for a Living Yangtze Programme.Manage relationship with Governmental Agency on wetland conservation and sustainable use training, and Nature Reserve management training and networking issues. Manage media relationship to increase public awareness of WWF Yangtze Programme.Conduct information in & out to increase profile of Yangtze Programme to target audience.Manage information of WWF China website relating to Partnership For A Living Yangtze Programme.Assist the Communication works of WWF CPO with communication campaigns and activities when these become priorities for the WWF Yangtze Programme.Perform other tasks as requested by Changsha Field Office (The head of Changsha Programme Office).
Working Relationships:Internal: Primary supervisor is Head of Changsha Programme Office. Regular contact with other team members of Changsha Programme Office and HSBC Project, WWF CPO Communications Officer, WWF CPO webmaster, communication manager of CPO Yangtze Programme of WWF-NL, WWF-UK. Occasional contact with WWF CPO Operations Department and other members within WWF CPO, WWF Network, particularly communication staff of WWF-Int., Living Water ProgrammeExternal: Regular interaction with project partners, local communities and mass media.
Qualifications Required:Experience:[li]Bachelor in Communication (China);[/li][li]Working experience with TV Station and news paper;[/li][li]Good English in writing, speaking and reading;[/li][li]Good in teamwork.[/li] Skills:[li]Good English writing and speaking skills, solid experiences with News Medias, TV station or Newspaper, and skills in maintaining good relationship with partners[/li] Education:[li]Bachelor degree.[/li] Contact Information:Candidates are required to send a cover letter and CV in English and Chinese to hr@wwfchina.org
