WWF世界自然基金会招募企业合作与发展总监\气候与能源项目协调员(顾问)\项目对外

WWF, the global conservation organization that has been working in China for 30 years, is looking for a highly skilled professional to be a Director - Development and Corporate Relations for the Conservation Strategy in WWF China Programme Office to be based in Beijing. This position will report to Country Representative, China Program.

Director - Development and Corporate Relations (Beijing)

Function:
The position holder will lead a marketing and corporate relationship team with cross-functional collaboration with all units within the WWF-China and the WWF Network as well as lead WWF’s business & industry engagement. This position is responsible for establishing and implementing medium to long-term marketing and fundraising strategies, with standards, policies and processes to raise income from corporations and, in cooperation with the Communications Department, help build the WWF brand across these target segments to increase support, preference and advocacy for WWF’s work.  As a member of the Senior Management Team, he/she will participate in overall WWF-China organizational development and strategic decision-making with the objective of realizing WWF-China's long-term vision. This position requires some knowledge of conservation and sustainability issues, proven experience in the business community marketing and, preferably, fundraising.
Major Responsibilities:
Fundraising
1. Manage relationships with external partners and service providers for optimum results (not all relationships are related to fund-raising; some involve program partnerships, others involve advocacy and issue collaboration).
2. Establish necessary structures, systems and process to support fundraising and relationship management.
3. Deliver cost-effective strategies to meet fundraising objectives, keeping abreast of best and new practice in local and global markets.
4. Raise revenue for WWF-China including unrestricted income to cover core costs, build reserves and support conservation work.
5. Coordinate with the WWF Network, AP Region in knowledge sharing and information exchange, and collaboration on regional and network business and industry and fund-raising initiatives that will benefit the network, region and WWF-China.
Business / Corporate Relations
1. Engage executives from business and industry community, both Chinese and international firms based in China including senior business executives as well as corporate social responsibility or sustainability leads.
2. Secure 2-3 transformational relationships with global companies in China in the first 18 months.
3. Work closely with the Market Transformation Initiative team to promote partnerships that advance its goals.
4. Provide guidance and leadership to a virtual team of market-related program colleagues and those working in conservation or footprint programs to raise funds for their projects / programs. .
Business Engagement:
1. To support high-level engagement of business leaders benefiting WWF-China’s conservation and fundraising goals.
2. To strengthen WWF-China’s capacity and position on business engagement to establish transformational relations with business and industries that support WWF-China’s mission program initiatives.
3. To drive synergies between the business-related work in WWF China by facilitating collaboration among various WWF Network Initiatives, Environmental Action Plans, thematic programs, field programs, marketing and communications.
4. To develop and manage specific project activities which lead to conservation, business benefits, and also fund-raising.
Brand Awareness
1. Working closely with the Communications Director, deliver brand position and messages according to WWF-China’s Brand Strategy to target segments through effective marketing communications and channel support.
2. Align with WWF network brand standards and guidelines across all communications
People Management
1. Establish and lead a high-performance team to deliver objectives, with the necessary rigor and standards
2. In collaboration with other units, establish performance tracking processes and delivery mechanisms
3. Perform regular evaluation of team performance, capacity building and career paths, in collaboration with the HR unit and other CPO teams
4. Establish and implement succession plans in the event of turn-over
5. Works effectively and in a collegiate manner with and across organizational lines.
Supervision: All staff in Marketing, including Deputy Director of Marketing, Major Gifts Senior Advisor, Corporate Relationship Officer, Senior Corporate Relationship Manager,
Working Relationships:
1. Internal:   Report to the Country Representative in Beijing. Close collaboration with the WWF-China bio-diversity and footprint teams involved in B&I activities, as well as the WWF-China communications team. Works closely with the WWF International B&I teams and corporate partnership / marketing managers in the WWF network.
2. External: Maintain good relationships with WWF business and industry partners, government officials and government aid agencies (GAA’s) and other NGOs working in the sector to advance WWF-China goals while ensuring accountability integrity. . Establish a process and discipline for partnership and donor relationships from early engagement with companies, ongoing donor and program deliverables relative to fund-raising and partnership relations and expanding those relationships to meet fund-raising and other CPO roles.
Qualifications:
A. Education background: MBA or related business fields.
B. Practical business working experience: e.g. at least 10 years solid working experiences in this field or related areas ideally in both Chinese and international companies
C. Proven track record in marketing and/or fundraising within the charity and/or private sectors, including substantial experience in brand marketing.
D. Excellent  Chinese and English speaking and writing skills
E. Understanding of the charity sector, business fundraising and supporter relationship management
F. Well proven financial acumen and budget management capability
G. Strong business background and network in China
H. Strong leadership, people & interpersonal management, collaboration relationship-building skills
I. Able to think both strategically and innovatively, and translate this into delivery of results
J. Exceptional communication and influencing skills, combined with the ability to work under pressure in a changing environment
K. Good management skills, including experience in matrixes, cross-organizational settings where positive performance results required, sometimes without line authority
L. Shared/ Sensitivity and empathy with the vision and values of WWF

Climate and EnergyProgramme Coordinator (Consultant) (Beijing)

Objectives
To support the Senior Program Officer to implement the climate capacity building project in China.
Functions and Responsibilities
• Prepare documents for the capacity building workshops, eg. brochure, curriculum, agenda, workshop summaries and policy recommendations, etc.
• Take care of workshop logistics and arrange accommodations for experts and workshop participants.
• Maintain the project website and update information regularly.
• Collect and analyze related sectoral policies and regulations on energy conservation and environment protection.
• Help to develop partnerships with specific companies to design and implement climate initiatives aiming to reduce carbon emissions.
• Provide progress reports as required by WWF International standards and donor standards and prepare proposals when required.
• Implement marketing, communication and promotion activities for the climate initiatives in collaboration with dedicated WWF Communications staff.
• Others as required and assigned by the supervisor.
Work Relationship
• Internal: Daily contact with the senior officer, director and other staffs in the Climate and Energy Programme; regular interact with business engagement units, marketing department and communication department at WWF.
• External: Interacts with related government agencies and representatives of industry, as required in fulfillment of duties.
Qualifications:
• At least two years’ experience in some of the following fields: energy, climate change, environment conservation, corporate relations, NGO-private sector partnerships or in industry itself.
• At least bachelor’s degree, preferably in environmental sciences, climate change, and related subjects like economics, marketing or communications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to learn in a rapidly changing environment, and willingness to update professional knowledge and skills.
• Proficient in English and Chinese, both writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Believes in WWF values, which are: passionate, optimistic, challenging, inspiring, credible, accountable, persevering and delivering results

Programme Communications Coordinator (Expert Consultant) (Beijing)

Principal functions:
To develop the communications strategy for the forest programme during the forest year of United Nations, lead the implementation of the plan, and evaluate the effectiveness, be aligned with WWF International and WWF China communication initiatives.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement the communication strategy and plan for forest programme aiming at advocating forest conservation and WWF's work in this field during the forest year of United Nations, by designing corresponding activities/events around the key messages of Living Forest Report to be launched by-monthly by WWF International
2. Draft and deliver forest communications materials such as brochures and newsletters if necessary.
3. Prepare news, statements, Q&A, fact sheets about WWF forest programme.
4. Contribute information to WWF website relating to forest programme.
5. Assist with information compilation related to forest conservation advocacy, such as filing of video, slides and photo collection, and media coverage.
Qualifications:
• Working experience in communications, for example journalism, events organization, and campaigning
• Proficient in story writing, both Chinese and English
• Knowledge and experience in forest communication as a plus
• Proactive, innovative and result-oriented personality with good communication skills
• Proficient English writing, speaking and reading skills
• Adequate interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team with other staffs in achieving common goals and ability to meet deadlines

• The contract term is 9 months with part-time based expert consultant contract.
