A BREIF INTRODCUTION
China entered WTO in 2001. The communication between China and the rest of the world is becoming more frequent than it has ever been.
Concerning the environment movement, the student organizations in China are doing lots of activities to promote the environmental awareness, while there are also many counterparts in other countries doing the similar work. Do the Chinese students and the international students have anything in common? Can we co-operate or learn from each other in the same subjects?
To meet this demands, Green Student Forum and Friend of Nature carried out a program to make good use of their resources to promote the exchange between the Chinese students and the international student environmental orgs.
The program aims:
To develop an international online community of green student organizations, to facilitate exchange of ideas and networking between student environmental organizations in China and overseas. Anticipated topics of exchange include how to successfully raise environmental awareness, organizing environmental conservation activities, working with volunteers, and managing volunteer organizations. The community will be in English to facilitate participation by diverse international groups.
Now we are asking for your attention to this program and require a feedback bearing your suggestion and the contribution you can commit to this program.
Thank you so much! |
