Main Responsibilities
1、Work with WWF Centre &Lower Yangtze river and freshwater team to develop and implement the strategy plan for conservation and regional sustainable development in Chishui river, Dongting and Poyang lake.
2、Provide technical assistance especially sustainable financing policy to partners.
3、Develop concepts and proposals to raise fund for Chishui river, Dongting & Poyang lake freshwater and biodiversity conservation project.
1、Develop project annual work plans and budgets.
2、Manage contracted projects and implement consistently monitoring and evaluation.
3、Establish necessary project documentation and database, serving as an information source for WWF family.
4、Provide timely financial and technical reports as required.
5、Assist Centre &Lower Yangtze river communication manager to ensure that a sound communications strategy is in place and participate in communications activities as needed.
6、Maintain and build good partnership with relevant stakeholders in the region.
7、Fulfill other project related work required by Head of Changsha office.
Working Relationships:
1、Internal: Regular contact with other staff of Freshwater, Climate Change and Energy, Species,
2、MTI, SHIFT etc., Wuhan Office and Shanghai Office, and staff in Finance, Communication, Market, and HR & Administration Department.
3、External: Maintain good relationship with donors. Maintain good relationship with partners, stakeholders, local communities.
Qualification:
1、At least Master degree in ecology, or economic management, public policy or related.
2、At least 5-year work experience in biodiversity conservation, economic management, international business management, community development or related work.
3、Understanding conservation issues in China.
4、Familiar with international organizations and business institutions operating rules.
5、Familiar with adaptive management approach.
6、Excellent command of English writing and speaking skills.
7、Good communication skills, communicate effectively and efficiently.
8、Adaptive to frequent field travel.
9、Dynamic, creative and outgoing personality and commitment to nature conservation

Major Functions:
Under the guidance of TPP head, with close collaboration with other staff, the Program Officer will coordinate the assigned TPP projects and initiatives to ensure effective and timely development, planning, delivery, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of TPP projects.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
1、Implement, coordinate and facilitate TPP projects, and conduct related project progress tracking and reporting, project finance, contact management, procurement and administration;
2、Maintain a good liaison with partners, donors, communities and other stakeholders for smooth project implementation, and keep timely communication;
3、Support the delivery of communication and outreach activities for public education, information sharing and profile enhancement;
4、Support the development of initiatives, concepts and proposals and fundraising;
5、Support work plan development and progress tracking, documenting, M&E and other work needed for project management;
6、Attend WWF’s meetings, workshops, trainings and other events as requested.
7、Undertake any other tasks as may be assigned by, and mutually agreed with the TPP head.
Working Relationship: Internal: Supervisor is Head of TPP (based in Xining); Work with team members of Xining Office; Cooperate with other WWF programs and field offices. External: Interact with donors, local communities, government agencies, Nature Reserve staff, NGOs and other relevant parties.
Qualifications Required:
1、At least Bachelor degree in ecology, zoology, natural resource management, development studies or other relevant disciplines, and Master preferred;
2、At least 3 years work experience in biodiversity conservation, community development or related work in China;
3、Good interpersonal skills, solid experience in coordination and event organization and ability to work with diverse partners and to work in a multicultural environment;
4、Excellent command of spoken and written Chinese and English, and master of Tibetan would be an asset;
5、Good skills in developing communication & education materials;
6、Good work ethics and willing to learn;
7、Familiar with MS-Office program;
8、Willing to travel in remote area and physically able to work in high elevation region;
9、Adherence to WWF Values.
