WWF, a global leading conservation organization with 25 years of experience in China, is seeking a motivated and capable individual to Support WWF Communications team on a daily basis: The position is:
Volunteer in WWF Communications

(with the option of full time employment after three months period as a communications associate)

Job Description:
Support WWF Communications team on a daily basis:

Serve as an office manger, taking care of mail, copying, filing, coordinating meetings, travel and other logistical support
Taking care of inquiries from media, universities and general public (in Chinese and English)
Assisting media officers with monitoring of press coverage
Assisting with maintaining databases for journalists and volunteers
Assisting communications and marketing officers with research on various topics, incl. environment, media and corporate social responsibility (Internet research)
Drafting translations from Chinese to English language
If appropriate: Drafting reports, stories, press releases, proposals

Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
Native Chinese speaker with fluent spoken and written English
Good organizational skills
Proficiency with computer programs incl. Word, Excel, Power Point and Internet applications
A strong interest in nature conservation and sustainable development issues
Outgoing personality with excellent communications skills and ability to work well in teams
