2007年第五界世界青年友好大会将于7月1-4日在俄罗斯圣彼得堡举行，大会组委会邀请来自中国的青年友好大使

作为全球生态村合作网络(Our Ecovillages)的代表,我今天已获得大会组委会的正式邀请,出席此次活动。同时，大会组委会欢迎更多来自中国的青年友好大使，致力于国际社会的和谐、友好与可持续发展，与来自全世界的200多名青年代表群策群力，共同探讨青年人的环境教育、青年人参与创新、发展姐妹城市的友谊等议题。大会的官方网站是www.eng.iys.ru。同学们可以通过阅览大会官方网站，获得自己感兴趣的详细内容。在其官方网站中，你还可以通过点击GALLERY连接，观看到历届世界青年友好大会的照片集锦。以下见组委会发给我的EMAIL为凭证。

以下是大会组委会的邀请信，感兴趣参加的同学请及时填写申请表格，并将表格寄至组委会邮箱：friendfest@mail.ru，大会的最后申请日期是5月25日，但我会和组委会协调，对来自中国大学的环保青年社团的申请予以适当延期；同时，请发一份给我，以便我及时将你加入次此中国环境友好青年代表团的成员名单。目前，我正在将此次大会的相关材料整理为一份文件，与中国联合国协会进行接洽。望其给予大力支持，指导中国青年友好代表团的组建，协调签证事务以及国外旅途保障，保证大家旅途的医疗卫生和人身安全，尽可能做到组织有序、行程严谨，给大家创造一个舒适、安逸、愉快的旅程。大会已获得来自圣彼得堡方面的资助，将支付各国参会青年代表在会议期间的住宿、餐饮费用，住宿、餐饮、观光将由组委会统一安排，但代表团成员需自己支付旅费（夏季，可以乘作中俄国际列车有北京直达莫斯科，旅途安全并可以欣赏沿途风光，需通过旅行社团购往返火车票票价在6000-7000元人民币，我初步估计此行每人总共费用平均低于10000元人民币，视个人情况而定，如果你是旅游纪念品收藏迷，超支也是很可能的，还好俄罗斯的手工艺品相对物美价廉）。也希望决心参加此次大会的代表团成员团结一致，为代表团的全体成员申请来自基金会等公共机构的资金资助，来缓解青年学生的经济负担，使此次行程顺利成功。

We invite you to join
the V International Youth Festival of Friendship - 2007,
1-4 July, 2007, St.Petersburg, Russia

1-4 July, 2007 the 5th international youth event the Festival of Friendship
will be held in St.Petersburg, Russia. The Festival will be organized by the
Committee on youth policy and cooperation with NGO's of St.Petersburg in
partnership with the NGO "International youth service". This year the Festival
of Friendship is devoted to the 50th anniversary of twin cities relations
between Hamburg and St.Petersburg. The aim of the Festival is to develop
international youth contacts, share the experience and creative ideas and to
get familiar with the variety of cultures of twin cities.

More than 200 young people at the age from 18 to 30 from the whole world will
take part in this event. During the Festival of Friendship participants will
have an opportunity to communicate with each other, express their creativity
and also to discuss actual problems of up-to-date youth. Here are following
topics to discuss at the Festival of Friendship:

Cooperation of youth organizations of twin cities
Environment and environmental education
Youth and Tolerance
Creative workshop (the special working group that will not discuss but create
the real subjects of art)

Besides there will be excursions, concerts, entertaining program, informal
communication and a lot of fun.

Official language of the Festival is English.

To become a participant:

1.  Fill in an application form before the 25th of May
2.  Send the application form to the e-mail: friendfest@mail.ru
3.  Wait for the result and get the notification about participating

Participation fee - 15 euro

***Participants pay only for travel tickets and participation fee.
Accommodation, three meals a day and leisure time will be paid from
St.Petersburg budget
