The website www.greenchinaview.com is a creation of the Portuguese company  BIOSANI.  A Sino-Portuguese couple owns this company. This website aims to introduce and keep non-Chinese people informed, namely Europeans, about Chinese environmental subjects. It is the beginning of a project with a much wider scope than this modest start. At this stage we are preparing a team and collecting information about China and, simultaneously, researching which are the main interests of non-Chinese people regarding this country’s environment.

We love China and our commitment to the country is for a lifetime. For us, China is not a mere “big new market opportunity”, neither the target of an ignorant and general non-constructive criticism. As everywhere, there are many improvements to implement in order for the most populous country to set up a more sustainable and ecological system for its present, notable and prestigious efforts to be considered as a member of the “developed countries” and legitimately one the first 3 world economic leaders.

“Greenchinaview” is deeply aware of how China will influence the world environment in the near future. So, this country’s present choices will be decisive not just for itself but for the whole planet. Our main attention will be on rural development, considering the huge importance of the countryside in the country: 70 % of people live there.

We believe that this great influence of rural life instead of being a barrier for the country’s development is a great opportunity for its sustainable future if rural development is to be well planned and implemented, with a widely informed ecological vision.

“Greenchinaview” will select the good efforts in the country to achieve such a development. Simultaneously, we will introduce our website visitors to several China environmental matters traditionally of interest to non-Chinese environmentalists.
