Campaigner - Finance

Purpose of Position:
The position is responsible for the development and implementation of campaign strategies, proposals and policy for engaging the investment and corporate finance communities in Greenpeace campaigns. While the primary area focus will be the Hong Kong, there will be strong links to our international campaigns and especially those in China.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies to change corporate behaviors to support our ongoing campaigns;
Empower investors and shareholders to bring in environmental and sustainability prespectives to improve the performance, practices adn policies of corporations;
Provide expertise with respect to corporate finance area. Keep abreast of issues, conduct investigations and analyses new developments;
Respond to public inquiries about campaign issues and other matters.
Requirements:

Degree in business, finance, environment, law or public policy or equivalent disciplines with 3 years of relevant work experience (preferably in NGOs, social or environmental movements);
Good knowledge of environmental/sustainability issues and an understanding of corporations, the socially responsible investment community and environmental movement;
Outstanding personal and public communication skills;
Good analytical and strategic thinking;
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Mandarin.
This position is for 2-year contract.
