We were recently doing some digital housekeeping, and discoverered that your email address isn't in our database of supporters. You're at the heart of this movement for real climate action--and we want to make sure we keep our connection alive.
So, with the hope that you'd want to stay connected, we've just added you to our email list of movement builders from around the world.

(http://action.350.org/unsubscribe.jsp?Email=1037884964@qq.com&email_blast_KEY=1180711&organization_KEY=1879)For those that don't yet know, 350.org is an international campaign that's building a movement to unite the world around solutions to the climate crisis--the solutions that science and justice demand. Together, we're inspiring a new sense of urgency and of possibility for our planet.
Last year the 350 movement organized what CNN called "the most widespread day of political action in the planet's history." We need your help to make this year's flagship day of action (10/10/10) even bigger -- so we can re-ignite the whole world, and its leaders, to get to work on the climate crisis.
We realize that most of our supporters' email inboxes are already quite busy--that's why we only send dispatches that are breaking, opportune, or otherwise so inspiring we feel compelled to share them with all our friends. Usually this means less than one email per week.
If you'd rather not stay connected, we won't take any offense, but you will surely be missed. Click the following link if you DON'T want to get major updates and important calls to action from our team → UNSUBSCRIBE

If you haven't yet, please do read our plans for 2010. And if there's some 10/10 Work Party organizing our team can be a hand with, please do write back and let us know. That's why we're here.
Many thanks for staying connected,
Bill McKibben, for the 350.org team
PS: For those who use Facebook, our movement is doing a wonderful job staying connected there, too. Join movement builders from the Maldives to Mexico -- and post your own dispatches to the group at www.facebook.com/350.org

350.org is an international grassroots campaign that aims to mobilize a global climate movement united by a common call to action. By spreading an understanding of the science and a shared vision for a fair policy, we will ensure that the world creates bold and equitable solutions to the climate crisis. 350.org is an independent and not-for-profit project.
What is 350? 350 is the number that leading scientists say is the safe upper limit for carbon dioxide in our atmosphere. Scientists measure carbon dioxide in "parts per million" (ppm), so 350ppm is the number humanity needs to get below as soon as possible to avoid runaway climate change. To get there, we need a different kind of PPM-a "people powered movement" that is made of people like you in every corner of the planet.
